Tigin is outfitted with both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. A general-purpose fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink. Additionally, a fire blanket is located on the wall in the kitchen.

A washer is provided along with a drying rack. You are also welcome to use the winch-operated exterior desiccation apparatus (laundry line) in the back.
